Fourteen notice boards

Fourteen notice boards was made in response to an invitation to make the 2013 Påskeutstilling, a part of Påskefest, shown in Slettebakken Church, Bergen. .

The installation is inspired by the tradition in Roman Catholic churches to install 14 artistic representations of The Stations of the Cross. It does however not depict Christ carrying the cross, but consists of 14 notice boards which displays prints from the internet, reflecting the presence of the cross in contemporary culture; how the cross appears as commodity and as identity marker, and how it is used for both decoration and war.
